Thomas Bonvalet est de retour !

For over seven years, hyperacusis has made any exposure to sound painful for Thomas Bonvalet, keeping him away from all musical practice. Saying we missed him is an understatement, and this is one of the most beautiful pieces of news this month: he will be performing again, in front of a small audience, sharing deeply moving compositions on an unamplified electric guitar, stripped down to the edge of silence, with heightened intensity.

Thomas Bonvalet (brilliant musician of Cheval de Frise, l’Ocelle Mare, Powerdove) opens up at length about hyperacusis and the painful hearing disorders that have taken him away from music.
