RAPHAEL LOHER : NOUVELLE SIGNATURE

Raphael Loher is a pianist and composer who works across a wide range of musical styles on numerous interdisciplinary projects. In 2022, he released his debut solo album Keemuun on the three:four records label. Across the album’s four pieces, Loher limits the piano to just ten notes spanning two octaves of the keyboard. With his meditative playing and focus on this central idea – which has since become the core of his solo work – he explores and tirelessly draws us into countless subtle variations and elusive shifting patterns.

Raphael Loher has toured throughout Europe and played festivals such as Montreux Jazz Festival, Willisau Jazz Festival, Suisse Diagonales, Jazzfestival Schaffhausen, Match & Fuse Festival, Unerhört Festival, Akut-Festival, Cully Jazz Festival, Micro Jazzfestival, festival Variations and festival Interstices amongst others.
