GRANDE — : annulation des représentations au CENTQUATRE-PARIS du 5 au 13 octobre
Suite à une chute importante de Tsirihaka Harrivel pendant la représentation de GRANDE — mercredi 4 octobre 2017, les prochaines dates au CENTQUATRE-PARIS sont annulées. Nous avons eu très peur, mais aussi fou que ça puisse paraître, Tsirihaka se porte bien. Merci de vous rapprocher du CENTQUATRE-PARIS pour le remboursement de vos places de spectacle.

‘Nuit Blanche 2015’ avec ‘Mission Géniale’ et Winter Family
Murailles Music fera don d’ubiquité samedi 3 octobre pour la ‘Nuit Blanche’ 2015 avec deux de leurs artistes ‘Mission Géniale’ et Winter Family pour assister à leurs performances pensées pour l’occasion. On y entendra des revues de music-hall revisitées à la hache, et une relecture de Sodome (symbole biblique de débauche et de perversion) ‘projetée’

GRANDE — is a wildly contemporary show combining the poetry
of newly uncovered images with a clear-cut writing style. Including targets that are but an illusion, moods that tend to swing, music like a stubborn everyday scansion, rst times, last times and repetitions jammed in the middle. This performance built on gestures could take “say what we do and do what we say” as its motto and as a pledge of allegiance to chaotic honesty.
GRANDE — (with a hyphen) is a title to be completed, meaning that henceforth elements can be adjoined and expressed as GRANDE —, like for example the GRANDE — review.
This is a circus show that speaks the language of Music Hall and Variety. Somewhat like a journal, it is divided into a series of reviews. Things in Review: this means literally seeing them again and again over time, observing their development while also creating the possibility to act upon and repeat past exploits.
GRANDE — is a story of objects: familiar objects, objects of love, objects of childhood, objects of dispute and objects of obsession.
It is the unexpected recital of shifts in situations, be they physical or imaginary. This might not seem coherent but at least it’s not contradictory. What’s more, hindsight allows us to say that a potential transcription of the world lies somewhere between incoherence and contradiction.
There are only two people on stage, acting and reacting as events unfold: he is literally hanging onto a pair of jeans while they are thrown into a washing machine she is actually holding up. The show continues thus, apparently incongruous yet dotted with striking analo- gies.
They perform in spite of everything and, as a form of parapraxis, stop operating in spite of themselves. Their gestures arise accidentally on purpose, revealing a fragile clumsiness as they continually attempt to rework and alter the ow of events, according to both will and oppor- tunity.

Tsirihaka Harrivel and Vimala Pons are two leading gures in the domain of contemporary circus. They have been working together since 2005. In 2007 they performed Numéro en 5 épisodes at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque (CNAC). In 2012 and as part of the Ivan Mosjoukine Collective they created De nos jours [notes on the circus].
In October 2015, on the occasion of the Parisian Nuit Blanche they presented All Night Revue: Revue 1 à 6, a looped performance which took place in a former SNCF train yard at la Chapelle.
In October 2016 they conceived their latest show to date, entitled GRANDE —.
They are currently working towards the presentation of their large-scale project TOUT ÇA / QUE ÇA which will be completed in 2019.
Tsirihaka Harrivel has individually participated in projects by Christophe Huysman, Mathurin Bolze and Dominique Dupuy.
Vimala Pons is also an actress and has featured in lms by both ‘Old-’ and ‘New Wave’ directors such as Alain Resnais, Jacques Rivette, Benoît Jacquot, Philippe Garrel, Bertrand Mandico, Antonin Peretjatko, Paul Verhoeven, Sébastien Betbeder, Thomas Salvador or Bruno Podalydès.
