Danse Musique Rhône-Alpes & Bonella Holloway ‘Apophénies’

This immersive and global experience, ‘Apophénies’, is a video and sound installation in which phantomatic apparitions collide: objects of the everyday, inextricable situations, pseudo-science and approximate beliefs. They constitute scenes that illustrate – and invoke – apophenia, as a special gift, a summoning power and a creative force that organises and helps accept chaos, as a reflex stopping us from assimilating the world as it is presented to us – as it is imposed upon us. Artists Bonella Holloway and Loup Gangloff (D.M.R.A) perform live on three screens, creating a closed space, a light box in which the audience share a rhythmic experience with the performers.
